Root Canal Treatment in Istanbul

Saves an infected or badly inflamed tooth instead of extracting it. Most teeth can be saved — and should be.

Why a root canal?

When the nerve inside a tooth becomes infected, the infection can spread to the bone. A root canal treatment cleans, disinfects and seals the canals so the tooth can stay in your mouth.

Saving the tooth comes first

An extraction followed by an implant is more invasive and more expensive. Our ethical principle is simple: if the tooth can be saved, we save it.

After treatment

A treated back tooth usually needs a crown to protect it from breaking.

Frequently asked questions

Is a root canal painful?
With modern local anaesthesia the treatment itself feels similar to a filling. Mild sensitivity for a few days is normal.
It hurts a lot but I'm scared, will there be an injection?
Yes, local anesthesia is applied before the procedure. You won't feel anything.
My tooth hurts but I don't want it extracted, is there another solution?
Yes, we have a high chance of saving the tooth with root canal treatment. The first examination is free
Which makes more sense, root canal treatment or extraction?
If the tooth can be saved, root canal treatment is always better. If you contact us, we'll tell you what's suitable for you.
Is root canal treatment necessary or is filling sufficient?
Root canal is needed for cavities that reach the nerve. The decision becomes clear after examination.
I have hot and cold sensitivity, does this mean I need a root canal?
Hot-cold sensitivity may indicate nerve damage. An examination is required for clear information.
What should I do for severe toothache that starts at night?
If the night pain is throbbing, root canal treatment may be needed. You can make an appointment by contacting us early in the morning.
My tooth is broken, what should I do?
Keep the broken tooth, don't force the area and apply to the clinic immediately.
Is it a problem to delay treating a painful tooth?
Yes, the infection can spread and swelling can occur. Don't delay.
Is it safe to get dental treatment in Turkey?
Yes, when you choose a licensed clinic with experienced dentists and certified materials. Ask for the dentist's credentials, the brands of implants and crowns, and a written treatment plan before you travel.
How much does dental treatment in Istanbul cost?
Very affordable compared with Western Europe — with the same materials and techniques. We do not publish one-size-fits-all prices: call us or send photos on WhatsApp and you receive a fixed written quote before treatment starts.
Does the treatment hurt?
Treatment is done under local anaesthesia, so you feel pressure but not pain. The dentist explains each step before starting, and you can ask for a break at any time.
Will my treatment plan be made for me personally?
Yes. We do not sell ready-made packages: the dentist examines your photos or X-ray, saves healthy teeth first and plans only what you actually need.
Are the reviews and photos on this site real?
Yes. Our reviews are on Google with their source, and the photos show our own clinic, team and patients (shared with their consent).
Can I have a private, discreet appointment?
Yes. Your appointments are planned around your schedule, and the same dentist looks after you from the first consultation to the final check.
Can I choose the shape and shade of my new teeth?
Yes. With a digital smile design you see and approve the shape and shade before anything is made — we aim for a natural result that suits your face.
How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?
It depends on the treatment: fillings, cleaning and composite veneers take 1–3 days, crowns and porcelain veneers about 5–7 days, implants usually two visits a few months apart.
Do you speak my language?
We communicate with international patients in English and other languages, and you can message the dentist directly on WhatsApp before, during and after your treatment.
How experienced is the dentist?
Our lead dentist has 35 years of clinical experience.
